Abanti holds a master’s degree in Comparative Literature; this subject is very closely related to social and psychological aspects of life.She is trained in the Spanish language as well. She was deeply involved with almost every activity run by Indo-Hispanic Society in Calcutta.

Abanti loves to design websites; she is trained as a front-end web designer.Presently, Abanti works in Hampshire County Council Children Services and also involved in some of the O/GCSE-level exams boards in the country.
Abanti is passionate about dance. She is trained in Bharatnatyam and Contemporary dance. She regularly performs in London and Hampshire.She enjoys having dance workshops with kids, young and grown-ups, at schools and colleges, where she encourages them to develop teamwork skills, physical skills and to think creatively.
Abanti loves to present the popular monthly magazine radio show, Chayer Aadda with Shre, they come with fresh new ideas in every show. Not only the local friends also Bengalis from India, Bangladesh, USA love to join their favourite show, Chayer Aadda.

When she has some free time Abanti loves to listen to music, practice dance, read books and spend time with her family.
