Unity 101 Community Radio broadcasts to the heart of Southampton's Asian and ethnic communities. Our presenters are volunteers from across our diverse city.

Be a Radio Presenter
No experience necessary — we'll train you from scratch with our college-accredited programme.
What you'll need
- Great English speaking skills
- Fluency in at least one additional language (see below)
- Comfortable using computers

Free training included
We provide free training through our college-accredited Community Radio Broadcasting Skills course — no prior experience required.
Other Roles
You can also join us if you are skilled in another area and would like to get experience of working in a radio station. We have had volunteers from a range of professions including IT, social media, administration, video production and more.
IT & Technology
Help maintain digital infrastructure and broadcast systems.
Social Media
Manage and grow our community presence online.
Administration
Support the station's day-to-day operations.
Video Production
Create and edit video content for our channels.
